Today we will be learning the idiom “under the weather”.

今日はイディオム “under the weather” を勉強しちゃいまーす！

To be “under the weather” means you are not feeling like your usual self and feeling a little bit sick.

“under the weather”　の意味は、なんか体調が良くない状態を表現しています。

Examples of “under the weather”:　例

“I think he might be sick. He was looking a bit under the weather at work today.”

“あいつ、風邪かなんか病気なんじゃないかなー。会社で調子悪そーだったんだよね。”

“I’m feeling a little bit under the weather. Probably because I didn’t sleep well last night!”

“ちょっと調子悪いなー。昨日の夜あまり寝なかったからだな”

A: What’s wrong with her?

A:　彼女大丈夫？何かあった？

B: She’s feeling a little under the weather. She can’t go to school today.

B:　ちょっと体調悪いみたい。今日は、学校やめておいたほうがいいね。
