今日のイディオム は“Shop around”でーす！

To “Shop around”means to check further on cost, quality, and so on before buying.

To “Shop around” の意味は、主に（購入）の前に、慎重に料金、質、

またはその他いろいろな観点からチェックすること。

注：本命の彼を探すなど、購入以外の状況でも使われまーす！

about one of a shopper bargaining a car at a car dealer office ー

ー カーディーラーにて、あるお客さんについて、二人のセールスマンの会話 ー

A: I just spent about an hour trying to convince that guy to buy the Porsche.

A: さっき、ポルシェに興味があるお客さんが来てさー，1時間ぐらい粘ったんだよねー。

B: How did it go? Is he buying it?

B: どーだった？買うって？

A: He seemed pretty happy with the deal in the end, but says he wants to shop-around first.

Maybe he wants to check that new car place down the road.

A:　最終的な、見積もりでいけそうなんだけど、

“もう少し他のディーラーもチェックしたい”って言って帰ったー。

B: Oh, Ok. Hopefully he’ll be back tomorrow.

B: んー、だいじょ―ぶじゃん。きっと明日戻ってくるよ。
